Since 1978, we at Timmersgems have been producing and exporting the so-called '54-FLATS' (4000 boxes to 9 countries). Both retailers and museum shops find this ideal: the customer selects their own stone, can take it out of the box and examine it, and it is otherwise nicely packaged. put a bag around it and it always results in a satisfied customer! The transparent variant Iolite is often used as a gemstone. The name is derived from the Greek word for violet. Another name is dichroite, which in Greek means "two-colored stone." Iolite is mined, among other places, in Sri Lanka, Burma, Australia's Northern Territory, Namibia, Brazil, Tanzania, and Madagascar. Iolite or Water Sapphire is a spiritual stone and stimulates insight and knowledge. It promotes independence, responsibility, and thereby reduces problems with dependency (both on substances and people) and addictions. The stone also promotes healthy and equal relationships. It helps you discover who you are and gives you the strength to be yourself. (often used and enhanced with Rose Quartz) Physically, iolite has a fever-reducing and bactericidal effect and has a positive impact on respiration, malaria, migraine, and the pituitary gland. Water sapphire / Iolite is bactericidal and helps against fat accumulation in the body.
