What is Waxcord? Because of traditionally problems with the traditional leather cords in the jewelry industry in the 70 so-called waxcord entered the market. It is the ultimate product to make beautiful necklaces because it is strong and virtually unbreakable. Unlike leather, it remains pretty when getting wet and discoloring is almost impossible. Even sweat does not affect the waxcord. This was a common complaint with leather laces. Overall a really nice product cheaper than leather and much finer in use, available in several diameters from 1 mm and in many colors.
