Contrary to what the name might suggest, Caribbean calcite does not come from the Caribbean, but actually comes from Pakistan, which borders the Arabian Sea on the coast. Our tropical looking Caribbean Calcite Towers come directly from a small family business in Pakistan. They each have fantastic layering of blue calcite and white and light brown aragonite. Caribbean calcite was only discovered in Pakistan in 2019, so far this is the only known source of this rare combination of ocean blue calcite along with white and light brown aragonite. With local mining only, once this resource is fully mined, it is expected that it will never be rediscovered, making it potentially rare, valuable and a future heirloom crystal. While this is still a relatively "new" crystal, its powers are still being discovered. The general consensus is that it connects to the crown and third eye chakras, enhancing psychic abilities.
