Reiki is an alternative healing method that works with the hands. The term “reiki” comes from Japanese and consists of two characters: rei (meaning ‘spirit’ or ‘soul’) and ki (meaning ‘energy’ or ‘life force’). Reiki is believed to transmit universal life energy to the recipient. This energy is said to have a harmonizing effect on energy channels and chakras, both physically and emotionally. Although there is no scientific evidence for the effectiveness of reiki, it is used to enhance health and well-being. These Teaching and Instruction Cards are mainly about the Reiki symbols, these are visual signs that are used in Reiki sessions to help with healing or moving energy. There are 4 primary symbols, these symbols can be used individually or combined to increase power, remove negative energy and promote spiritual enlightenment. In addition, there are many secondary symbols that each Reiki practitioner uses in their own way. You will also find the 7 well-known Chakra symbols on these cards that are inextricably linked to Reiki.
