Where the religious or the mystic, in order to reach other levels of consciousness, is at the mercy of God, the magician will pursue this with his own will. A beautiful premise to design a Tarot deck, thought Peter Frampton, and that's exactly what he started with, leading to a year later presenting a very fine Tarot deck based on what is known from the past.
